Whirlpool

The water in a pool really does glisten
But when it tells its story people never listen
Some may hear its lessons swishin'
But they will never know what they're missin'

Poetry Mountain

Working hard on this poetic climb
Just like mama said
Thinking of rhymes all the time
They're always stuck in my head

Sandy Shores

The sand beneath my feet
The morning sun beating down
I feel like the king of this court
And there's no one I can't beat

In the Pool

I want to win no doubt about it,
So to the pool I go.
There's nothing better than feeling fit,
This I surely know.

Through the water I slice,
As I jump in I'm free.
The hours in the gym just don't suffice,
In the pool I feel like me.

RESPECT

Reason
Equality
Showing
Positivity
Expectations
Co-operation
Truthfulness
                 RESPECT

The city

City lights shine bright.
No matter how dark the night
Like an orange night light.

The real deal

when you see a racoon from afar
it looks like some thing good to pet.
But up close
you'll want to run with
fear of your safety, so next time
look threw the
Surface.

(free verse I tried to copy the red wheel barrow poem)
